This hip new hotel offers a huge variety of charming little and reasonably large rooms. The location of the property is stunning and fantastic, facing inner courtyard. There's Bay Blue Espresso Bar at a moderate distance from the hotel, they have tea/coffee/desserts.

I loved staying at the Old Gaol! The hosts, James & Mel, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Sleeping in a cell was a unique experience and the place felt cleansed and well-maintained. The shared kitchen and bathroom were clean and had everything I needed, like a home away from home. I also enjoyed exploring the whole gaol and learning about its fascinating history. The exercise yard with the basketball ring was a hit with the kids. it was a memorable stay and a great option for budget travelers.
Felt like home, no reason to complain.
